No explosives found in Mexican plane crash, says officials

There is no evidence suggesting that an explosive damaged a government plane earlier this week, says government officials, but people are still speculating about what really brought the plane down. Some are still suggesting that it was an attack.

According to the government, no explosive residues were found in the crash site. The crash killed two top anti-drug officers.

120-day Extension to TSA's Proposal

Recently, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) proposed a rule to expand the airline-style security measures to private operations of aircraft weighing more that 12,500 pounds last October 30, 2008 and currently accepting comments from the public for 60-days

The proposal will rebuff the security measures tighter that could affect 15,000 aircrafts, 10,000 operators and 300 airports. A joint letter by AOPA and NBAA have been sent to formally request a 120 day extension period of TSA to accept comments from the public. More details on the link below.
