JetBlue's founder puts up another airline

Starting up a new airline in the midst of a financial crisis might generally not seem to be a very good idea, but in Brazil's case, where domestic flights are much more expensive than some international ones, a new airline to beef up the competition is most welcome.

In the case of Azul Airlines founder David Neeleman, it's only a case of replicating the strategy he employed when he had founded JetBlue Airways, whose board unceremoniously sacked him in 2007.

Laser Attack on Planes

About 12 jetliners landing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport last Feb. 22 reported a green laser light into their cockpits was pointed that has plagued pilots years back when the cheap laser pointers where introduced to the public. All planes in 20-minutes were targeted on that Sunday night and suspect that the culprits was a mile north of the airport. Incidents like these have not yet contributed to any aerial accidents but still, its posses great risk that could lead to a catastrophe which could blind the pilot temporarily or affect night vision.
